it's days like these that keep me on my winning streak

One of the local radio morning shows was making fun of songs on each others iPods this morning. Out of the 13 songs they were ragging on, I have 11 of them in my iTunes and 7 of those actually on my iPod. I am so not cool.

But seriously, you can't make fun of Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)'! It's a great song! I still own an actual 45 of it!

In other news, the L&O: CI episode on Tuesday night was sort of built around a Great Big Sea Alan Doyle solo song. That's pretty awesome. I'm so excited about getting to see GBS for free for two nights in August!

Okay, wilowisp. I watched the first episode of Dollhouse finally. And...I'm not sure about it yet. I didn't hate it or anything, but I'm not sold on it yet either. I'll probably watch episode 2 once ER is over and maybe that will help.

The most important part is: HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT REED DIAMOND IS ON THIS SHOW?? Mikey! I haven't seen him in anything lately and I've missed him. When he came on screen, I might have given a little squeal. He must not be a permanent cast member though since he's listed in the 'guest starring' section of the credits.

I just went outside to see what it was like out there. It's a mess. There was a 10 inch snowdrift behind my car. I decided to see if I could move my car to a better spot so I wouldn't have any issues getting out in the morning, but all the other spots suck too. But I did manage to get out so I at least won't get stuck. And the good thing about the brutal wind is that it's blowing all of the snow off my car. I shouldn't have too much to clean off my car in the morning.

Yes, I think ahead like that. It's how my brain works.

The more I ponder Law & Order: UK, the more I think I may have a new OTP. ♥

Ummmm....yeeeeeeah. This is kind of embarrassing to watch. The synchronized dancing is just TOO much. Although watching Jon get lost in the steps is kinda entertaining.

Plus, someone is flaaaaaaaat. Kinda painful to the ears.

So...that teaser in the L&O:CI ads is Nicole Wallace, right? They wouldn't tease her and then not produce, would they? They couldn't be so mean!

Argh. Okay, I totally just spoiled myself for the episode on Wikipedia. But now I have my answer.

I've pretty much done nothing productive since I left work this afternoon. And I'm okay with that. This is my first day of nothingness in a long time.

I may have gotten fed up with my hair and chopped it off. Perhaps a little more than I meant to. But it was way too long and the ends were gross, so it definitely needed to be done.

This is like the third Monday I've completely forgotten to watch Chuck. Thank goodness for the internet pirates!

How did I not notice this before? One of my YouTube videos is posted on The Fuchsia Band's MySpace. That's kind of cool. I like finding my stuff in random places.

I was hunting through the piles of clothing on my bedroom floor for a particular sweater this morning. All I could hear in my head was that damn "If you feel chilly, here take my sweater" song from the Old Navy commercial. And now it's been on repeat in my brain all day. DO NOT WANT.

Guys, I TURNED OFF the TV for a while last night. I also did the same on Monday night. I'm really trying to reach my goal of reading 75 books this year, and have realized that I'll need to read at least 2 books a week for the rest of the year to do it. This will not happen if I watch Law & Order all night every night. I'm doing okay so far. I finished two books I had been reading at the same time on Monday and I'm already halfway through another book. I can normally get 150-200 pages read while I'm at Hallmark, but I've been busy working on stuff lately. It's cutting into my reading time! Stupid work.

I've been to 22 concerts so far this year. Not too bad, I guess. I only went to 21 concerts total in '06. This is what my calendar looks like for the rest of the year, so far:
