One of the local radio morning shows was making fun of songs on each others iPods this morning. Out of the 13 songs they were ragging on, I have 11 of them in my iTunes and 7 of those actually on my iPod. I am so not cool.

But seriously, you can't make fun of Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)'! It's a great song! I still own an actual 45 of it!

In other news, the L&O: CI episode on Tuesday night was sort of built around a Great Big Sea Alan Doyle solo song. That's pretty awesome. I'm so excited about getting to see GBS for free for two nights in August!

You have such a wide range of music on your Black Pearl I doubt anyone could categorize you let alone determine that you are cool or uncool. AND morning show jockeys... not really people who should throw stones, ya know?

I know. It was just funny that as I was listening to them trash each others music, I kept going 'yeah, I have that song. and that one. and that one.' ;)

So after a little internet research, it's actually an Alan Doyle solo song called 'Middle of Nowhere'. Shows how much I know about GBS. =/ I really really liked the song though. Some smart person would put it up for sale on iTunes or something because I'm apparently not alone.
