"No, we're not going to get another dog. It's too soon. Maybe in a year or two."

today:
"So, we might go back to the shelter tomorrow and get this dog that was there."

Honestly, my mother is way too predictable sometimes.

Isn't that always the way? Are they definitely heading over there to rescue another pup?

I wish I lived in a place where I could have a dog. I would so get one. Mine passed away when I was 16 and I haven't had a pet since.

I don't know. She was supposed to call me and let me know. The shelter opens in a little while and my guess is they're going down there before she'll call. =)
