Okay. So here's what I know right now. The con is not canceled. They're supposedly going to find someone to still do a cabaret on Saturday night, which is complete bullshit. People were going to see JOHN, not to hear someone sing. Gareth is definitely in Chicago as he was on the same flight as one of the convention attendees, so he'll be there. Hopefully, they'll just do a one day con on Saturday, give us Sunday free and refund some of the ticket price. But we'll see.

Leaving to drive to Chicago now. I have no idea when I'll be back online, so uhhh, let me know if anything else happens, stardiver?

So Snowpocalypse 7.0 was pretty much a bust, at least here in the Cities. But I had to run out and grab something from my car last night. It was snowing, sleeting, raining and there was thunder & lightning. All at the same time. What the frak is going on??

THE OFFICE IS BACK! =) I laughed, I cringed. It was good!

Oh man. They announced yesterday that Gareth David-Lloyd is going to be at Dragon*Con. I am absolutely NOT pondering this. No way. Just in the same way that I am NOT pondering a trip to Toronto while John Barrowman will be there filming How to Solve a Problem Like Maria and recording his next album. And possibly shooting a movie.

This time next week I'll be in Detroit! It's sad how very excited I am to go to fucking Detroit. =)

*hee* John Barrowman yelling about tits and dicks not being the same thing is now my text message tone. I probably better make sure that I remember to switch my phone to vibrate when I'm at work. ;)

Accomplished today?
- Avoided doing any actual work at work
- Went to Borders to buy the second issue of the Torchwood magazine
- Also bought a book I didn't need *sigh*
- Picked up pay check
- Watched Hotel Babylon
- Made new ringtone

Don't let anyone tell you that I'm not exciting. =/

Thing the First:
I picked my parents up from the airport tonight and I am finally home after four days. I brought Earl with me in the car and he absolutely flipped his gourd when he saw my mom waiting on the sidewalk. It was adorable. We had an okay time together but I'm still happy that I'll be able to sleep in my own bed tonight where there's not a furry little creature trying to get my attention while I'm sleeping.

Thing the Second:
YOU GUYS! I finally got my client invoice to work properly today! I've been working on that stupid thing for like two weeks. I think the rest of my work week will be much easier now that I have that off my plate.

Thing the Third:
Because I'm all about rewarding myself for the little things lately, I bought the audio of John Barrowman's biography as a congrats for getting my invoice done. I've decided that I can wait to get the book until it's released here in the US in April, but I wanted needed to hear John read it before then. Even if it is the abridged version. I've already made it through some of it and it's pretty hilarious. =)

Thing the Fourth:
My brother called my parents house earlier, looking for my dad. Since they were in the air at that point, I ended up talking to DJ myself for like 15 minutes. I haven't talked to him in a couple weeks, so that was nice. I miss him so much. He's trying to narrow down when he'll be home during the summer, but he's pretty sure that he'll be here for the 4th of July. Yay!

Thing the Fifth:
Hey! Minnesota has been declared for Obama. Sweet! I still feel bad that I couldn't get out to caucus today since I had airport duty to perform.

I think that's it for today. I'm going to suck down some Advil PM, listen the commentary for Combat and then conk out for a while.
