I told my mother the other day to wait and vote with me in the afternoon. She went at 7am instead and waited in line for 50 mins. I went at 4pm and walked right up to the election judges and then the booth. Shouldn't she know to trust me??
They're expecting at least an 80% turn out in our state. That's amazing! Way to go 'Sotans!
Anyhow, that's done. I can't handle watching the results trickling in, so I'm staying away from the TV. So let's get back to the really important stuff.

Date: 2008-11-04 11:27 pm (UTC)I don't know if I'm going to watch the results or not. I mean there'll be nothing else on. I do have a window open on cnn.com to see the results that way, but I think I'll just take a gander every few hours or something.

I'm off to vote now... not expecting a huge line, but we'll see... if only I was more confident about who to vote for... can I just move to Canada?
