Is anyone else freezing their ass off? I heard there's a heat wave in Cali, so vampirecarly is probably cursing me out. But it's freaking cold here! It was a whopping 50 degrees when I left for work this morning, and now it's gotten all the way up to 58. *grumbles* Where's summer?!? The promise of steamy hot humid weather is all that gets this Minnesotan through the unbearably long winter!! I had to get out my warm comforter last night and close the windows in my apartment. I almost wore a jacket this morning! It's just so wrong!! *sobs*

I got Idina Menzel's and Jeremy Kushnier's CDs in the mail yesterday. OMG! I LOVE them both!! Idina's voice is just so beautiful. Now I'm going to have to break down and get the Wicked CD. Even though it'll make me sad 'cause I didn't get to see it in NYC.

Oh, and go read Christian's 20 Questions over on Sludge if you haven't yet. 'Cause he's a nice guy, and Killingbird rocks and...and...well, just read them. I thought they were entertaining! And I'm pretty sure my arm is in one of the photos.

Cali is experiencing warm weather. Especially SoCal. I'm in NorCal and we're expecting to be in 100's by this weekend. It sucks. I'll trade ya for your cold!

I hear ya Leigh. It's only going to be in the 60's here this week. Strange for August in Chicago. Maybe we need to go to LA.

Speaking of August in Chicago...we were talking in Sludge chat last night and we want to get a Chicago event going. We need to get KB to come here when they tour!

I enjoyed Christian's 20 Questions even if others didn't. I especially liked the marker reference. LOL.

It's nice and steamy here, but it was cold as fuck in Sturgis. I was ill prepared for the chilliness up there. Luckily, a certain sweet person loaned me his sweatshirt, and I'm gonna wash it and give it back to him this weekend in Omaha.

But yeah, take some of our heat, please...

I don't think you guys are missing out on much. It's hotter than hell here right now, and it's probably only gonna get hotter. I prefer to stay holed up in my room which is like the arctic circle. :)
