Hi everyone! How the hell did I ever do this vacation thing without a laptop?? =/ Crow T. Laptop & I are snuggled in at the family cabin in the Minnesota northwoods and happily ~~stealing~~ borrowing the neighbor's internet connection. I'm officially on vacation and couldn't be happier about it. This past week was pretty brutal, what with all the network issues at the day job and working a ton of days at Hallmark. But now I have nothing - NOTHING - that has to be done. (except piles and piles of laundry, that is) Just things that I want to do.

The best part? We didn't have our Hallmark schedule for July until today (don't get me started on how stupid that was) so I had no idea what I was working next weekend. I figured that I'd be working on Sat though, since I asked for tomorrow off. Which meant that I'd be missing the (late) 4th of July picnic. That was okay though. I was planning to come home next Friday night and that still gave me 7 days off. But I'm NOT scheduled on Sat! I can stuff myself at the picnic and play cornhole for hours! =) I really don't have to leave until Sunday morning. That's a lot of freaking time without working. *dreamy sigh*

Off to snuggle with my dog for a while and then head off to bed.

ETA: Gorramit! I haven't even been here an hour and I already broke a nail. Just as I was thinking I might treat myself to a manicure this week too. =(
