This week has pretty much been not fun. I’m exhausted. Totally exhausted. I feel like I may never get caught up on my sleep, because I just have so many things that need to get done. I did make a momentous decision because of this. I’m cutting down a day at the bookstore. I’ll now be working three nights a week. I can’t remember a time when I worked there so little on a regular basis. I’m just so used to four-five days a week. I just can’t do it anymore! I’ll probably pick up a day next fall for the holidays, but for now I will have both Wed & Thurs nights off. It’s like heaven!

The Van Helsing trailer came out today. I am super-bummed, because I can’t watch it at work. There was a preview of it on Entertainment Tonight last night. I had to beg my mom to tape it for me since I didn’t have time to stop home between jobs. There was a spot where Hugh ripped off his shirt and looked like he was screaming at the sky. Oh, yeah. I’m gonna like this movie!

There’s been a lot of VH/Hugh related stuff for me this week. I’ve been eBay-ing like crazy! The banner I want is over $125 right now. Dayum!! There’s two more up though, so I’m hoping that I can get my hands on one of them. dazeebean said that her theater has one, but I doubt I’d be able to get my hands on it. There’s three-page ad for the movie in the new FHM magazine. It’s now hanging at my desk. We had planned to see Big Fish on Saturday night. But since the VH trailer is playing before Along Came Polly now we’re going to see that instead. We’ll see Big Fish next week. Mmmmm…Ewan... I also pre-ordered all of the upcoming VH books at work last night. Once a book geek, always a book geek...

Wed night, we gathered at dazeebean’s house for dinner. It was scrumptious! We didn’t really feel like doing much, so we popped in Bend it Like Beckham. I wasn’t going to stay long since I was so tired, but I ended up staying for the whole movie. It’s one of my new favs! I think I’ve seen it five times now.

I’ll be dog sitting this weekend, which means no unpacking will get done. But laundry and dog snuggling will get done. I suppose that’s an okay exchange. I HAVE to fix the website for our bookgroup this weekend. No ifs, ands or buts. And I really should start working on my calendar for this year, considering it is halfway through Jan already. On Sunday, we’re heading out to the Mall of America. taylorea and I are hitting the scrapbooking store, while Jess & Laura run off to do something else. Then once I am released from my doggie duties, I’m going over to Bren’s for an afternoon of cropping. I had to actually get permission to go shopping on Sunday from my mom, who didn’t want me to leave her babies alone. “Mom, they’ll be sleeping. They won’t know I’m not there.” “I don’t care! You can’t leave them!” Eh, whatever.

Next Tuesday, Once Upon a Time in Mexico comes out. I can’t wait!! Oh, and happy birthday to my brother, DJ, tomorrow, who won’t read this since he’s in Egypt. And happy birthday on Monday to my sister, Jennifer, who won’t read this since she thinks her big sister is a goober. ;)
