Weekend update.

I had a pretty uneventful, yet productive weekend. Saturday morning I went shopping with my Christmas spoils. I bought my new DVD player, and it has a glowy blue light and the remote has glow in the dark buttons! Yes, I am easily amused, why do you ask?? Actually, it's pretty good and will play my burned DVDs, so that's all I care about. I can now watch my super-secret, I-don't-really-have-it Faster bootleg on my TV instead of my 'puter. Yay! I also bought Bend it Like Beckham, Confindence and Deuce Bigalow: Male Giggalo on DVD. I still can't believe I didn't have Deuce already! It's one of my favorite movies!! Mmmmmmm...Oded is SO freaking hot in it!!!

Where was I?? Oh yeah, after shopping, I went to get my car back from my dad. He had changed the oil for me and washed it. Yay!! Daddies rock! Then I spent the afternoon hooking up the DVD player and watching Bend it. It's such a great movie!

Then, I finally began packing. I move in a week and didn't really have anything done yet. But I pushed myself and managed to get all the books (61 boxes!), CDs (7 boxes) and DVDs packed. I also got almost everything down off the walls. My place is starting to look so empty! I did get to look at my new apartment that day. It's SOOOOO much nicer than the one I'm in!! Big and open, not dark and cavelike. I'm very excited about it! I may actually take the time to decorate it.

I listened to the Sludge party broadcast while I was packing. Well, except for the preshow and the first hour, because I forgot all about it. It made me sad to listen, because I wasn't there. I really wish I could have been!! But it was fun too, because, well duh! Chad!! And Ann giving me a drunken shout out.

Sunday I was not quite as motivated. I watched Confidence, which was excellent! Check it out! Then I packed up my computer desk, the stuff in the living room and everything in the first bedroom. Since the 2nd bedroom is all clothes, the 3rd bedroom is all storage stuff and pretty much packed, all I really have left now is my bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen. Not too bad! There's not much in my bedroom, and I'm just going to throw all the bathroom stuff in a duffel bag. I haven't decided about the kitchen yet. I don't feel like packing it all up since I'm just walking across the street. I may just throw things in a nice box with handles and unpack it as I go. I don't have much in the kitch anyways. I'm not as worried about moving as I was a few days ago. I think it'll go fine!

I spent most of last night at my parent's house. They bought a new photo printer and I had to show them how to use it. And I needed to give love to my dog 'cause he was feeling depressed about something and wanted attention. We watched the horrible Vikings game and I said goodbye to my brother, who is leaving for Egypt in a couple days.

I do believe that was my weekend! I'm only working two days this week as I took some time off to move, so I'm in a pretty good mood!! Plus, eating tons of Christmas candy has made me very hyper. Oh, and someone who I've been waiting to hear from has emailed me a couple times today. Nothing can quite cheer you up more than a cute boy, eh? ;)
