Aug. 13th, 2005 02:08 pmI really should know better than to go into a bookstore, since books are like Kryptonite to me. But I needed to pick up the book for our next book club meeting, so I found myself going into B&N today. I behaved! Besides A Million Little Pieces by James Frey, I also grabbed Kerrelyn Sparks' How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire, since I read somewhere that it was entertaining. I almost picked up Marjorie M. Liu's new book (which I've already forgotten the title of) since it's a paranormal with vamps. I LOVED Tiger Eye when I read it earlier this year. But, I shouldn't spend the extra money right now, so I put it back. Now I just have to get A Million Little Pieces read by Wednesday night. No problem. I think. =/ I'm also about halfway through The Good, the Bad and the Undead. It's not moving very fast yet.
The only other thing I had to do this weekend was renew my driver's license, which I did yesterday. I also bought The Muppet Show: Season One on DVD, which I didn't need to do, but did it anyways. I'm not going to let myself watch any of it until I get through 50 pages of my book though. It's a very Wicked-riffic DVD set, as Joel Grey is the guest host in one episode, and Ben Vereen in another.
