In other news, there is no way in hell that I am ever going to be able to even out the tan on my arms. Left = deep bronze. Right = slightly above pasty white girl. I've been slathering on self-tanner and it's not helping much. I need to find someone to drive me around so I can start sitting on the other side of the car, and pronto. It's not going to help any that I'll be going to KC & back, then Detroit & back in the next couple weeks. =/

In other, other news, Rock Never Stops is coming here on the 16th. Did I miss this, or was this a new announcement? It sounded like a new thing when they talked about it on the radio this morning. They're playing some new club no one has really heard of. If anyone wants to come up, let me know. You're always welcome!

I saw the listing for Rock Never Stops on Ticketmaster last night, but it only said "small venue, Minnesota". Where are they playing?

Some new bar in Maplewood. Myth? I think that was it. The upcoming Seether show is going to be there too. No one seems to know anything about it though.

Top five Nigel moments. ;)

Hmmmm...

1. When Nigel, Bug & Jordan walk out of the police station together in "Forget Me Not." Okay, that whole episode in general, but that scene specifically.
2. The scene in Azmandeus Club in "Revealed," because that's where my Nigel!Lust really started.
3. When Nigel sees the corpses in the crypt in "As If By Fate."
4. When Nigel tackels the guy running out of the Occult shop in "Devil May Care," because something about that scene makes me all tingly inside.
5. When Nigel tells Jordan that no one cares for her more than him in "Pandora's Trunk Part 2." At least, I think it's that ep. I get all three of those mixed up sometimes.

Honorable mention to the fight scene in the bar in "Skin & Bone," because he's fighting for Bug's honor and because Steve really took a fist to the face.

I have to say, #5 is a good moment, because Nigel really does care about Jordan. (He's such a sweetie.) And YEAH fighting for Bug's honor.

ahhhhh...crap. Okay, I can do this.
1. Playing the "Dresses to the Right or Left?" game at the first BBJ reunion show, which resulted in Carly & I staring at his crotch for a good part of the night.
2. Seeing BBJ for the very first time when they opened for Faster in 1993 in Minneapolis. I was one of the only people there who knew who they even were and I was mesmerized for their whole show.
3. Finally getting to meet him after last year's show & getting a photo with him. 'Cause I'm a dumb fangirl after all.
4. Whipping out my ticket from said 1993 show after this year's show so that he would sign it. Again with the dumb fangirl thing.
5. Seeing his big, dumb, happy smile at any of the reunion shows, because you can tell that he's truly happy to be there and have all those people cheering for them.

Oh jeebus...I hope he never sees this. It makes me seem really pathetic.

1. Holding hands with him while walking down the sidewalk from the Elbo Room to Delilah's. In fact, that whole night is extremely memorable.
2. Chad singing "Baby Loves You" to me at The Machine Shop.
3. Booking from the front row of the theater, around the front and all the way back to the buses in South Bend so Carly & I could get a pic with him before he took the wedding dress off. Again, that whole day was memorable too.
4. Being invited to his place, even if he was only awake for like ten minutes. And Carly & I having to fake like we were on the phone while we waited for him to drive by, so we could go back and take pictures outside his building.
5. Dancing to "Blitzkrieg Bop" & "Anything" at Goldfingers.

Honorable mention goes to how excited I was that he remembered me in St. Paul, after we officially met in Fargo a couple days before, and how he said hi and came up & gave me a hug as soon as I walked into the bar.

It's a newly added show...but wait, the RNS tour in a BAR? Oh my, that's not going to be good. If I have my car back by then, I'm thinking of going, though I kinda like the idea of just waking up at home and driving 45 minutes to see them in St. Joe, which is the next day.
