Ugh!

I think I have officially screwed up my hand/wrist. This is not good. I need it! I now have a brace for work, one for home, and one too sleep in. Just shifting gears this morning was irritating me. Perhaps I need to back away from the computer for a while.


Or not.

Oh, and CJ fans take note: NBC switched Saturday's episode from "Necessary Risks" to "Deja Past." It makes more sense in the show order and all, but just furthers the fact that they have no consistency whatsoever.

I understand that all too well. When I worked at the newspaper, I went in one day and thought I was having a heart attack....I could barely move my left arm, my neck felt like a hot coal was in between every bone......

I was sent to a company doctor who said I had CTS....soooo he wanted to set me up for surgery. I declined nicely and went out and bought a couple of strong braces which I have to this day. I was floored when I put it on and the pain in my neck stopped almost instantly.

I can always tell when I've been on the computer too long....and I run and find my brace (which needs to be replaced soon......wonder if I can actually make one)

Ohhhh I forgot...parrifin baths...you can make your own or get a relatively cheap on in most drug stores. They work wonders on the wrists.

Thanks! I'll have to go shopping tonight. I need to do something to help soothe it. Just wearing the braces doesn't seem to be enough.

Thankfully it's not that bad. My neck is already screwed up from a car accident a few years ago. I don't need pain in my wrist to cause further damage there.

I think I've just been over doing the screencapping a little bit this past week. I'm going to try to take a few days off from that.

I'll call you tonight. I work 'til 6:30, after which we can discuss the meet-up. I guess Ida and friend can drive us. Do you want to stay for the whole thing? That's option 1. Option 2 is that we drive ourselves and leave when we want.

Yeowch. I banged up my ankle freshman year and ended up in a brace for a couple months. It sucked. (Perhaps you have Capper's Wrist? ;))

And that's random to change it after deciding one thing. Ah, NBC. Can you ever make up your mind?

Well, it's more from having to "mouse" so much at work, but the capping definitely does not help. Not at all. Neither does getting to work at 7am and being on the 'puter until I leave at 3, then going home and being on the 'puter from 4 until after midnight. I need to get out of the house.

Yeah, that could injure anyone's wrist. Maybe you should, I don't know, go bar hopping or something. Find some hot young thing to seduce and have your way with. ;) Or, at the very least, have a drink and some fun.

(I need to get out more often, too, but it's the end of the term. I have a feeling I will soon be chained to my desk.)
