I thought I would make an update just to prove I'm still around.

It's amazing how watching 8 hours of a TV show will inspire you to have dreams about the characters. I don't really remember any details, except that there was running. In other news, Operation: Skip Work to Watch Crossing Jordan obviously went pretty well. And I still have four episodes to watch! Plus, I'll get to watch them all again when I transfer them to DVDs. Now if only NBC could get the music rights worked out so Season One could actually be released on DVD and I'd be happy. I really need to get cable so I can watch it every night. sigh...

Oh, and duckduck, you would LOVE the episode I watched after I got home last night. Nigel & Bug had a TOTAL lovers spat. I was giggling so hard I rolled up into an actual ball. They truly are ♥ OTP.

Nothing else exciting is really going on. I managed to finish our book club book (Wideacre by Philippa Gregory) on Saturday, and I'm fairly sure that I'm the only one who will have read the entire thing. Not a book I would recommend, although I did end up somewhat liking it. I may read the next one in the trilogy eventually.

cinful1, I got your package on Sat. Thanks! It made me laugh, and be sad because I miss you. I'm going to work on finding the stuff I need to send to you this weekend.

And since we didn't have mail delivery yesterday, I'm STILL waiting for my Robin Black CD to arrive. It should show up today. I seriously should have just driven up to Canada on Saturday and bought a copy. In the meantime, I'm addicted to Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway CD. I don't know how that happened, but it's really good.

I got my CD yesterday. I only listened to it briefly and not the whole thing, but I'm not sure what to think. I think I'm a little disappointed. It sounds a bit over produced. They are missing the raw quality that I liked about them. They also lost the cheesy glam quality that I liked about them. Also the single version of Hellraiser is MUCH better than the one on the album. I dunno, I have to listen to it more and give it my full attention. Hopefully it will grow on me.

I'm such a dork. I made my mom go and check my mail today to see if the CD had arrived. And it's still not here! *cries*

Uh oh. That was the best part! Well, I'm still hopeful. I'm just dying for some new music to listen to.
