I feel like this month is NEVER going to end. I've been fairly incommunicado, as I'm swamped right now with work. I'm too tired to do anything constructive by the time I get home, so I haven't really given any real updates lately. I'm going to put a little effort out this weekend though, I swear.
Work just sucks right now. Specifically, rate entry, which is the bane of my existence. But since I'm the fastest and most accurate person they have to do it, I always get stuck with it. I'm sure you don't care, but it consists of entering line after line after line of different rates for medical, dental, etc. coverage for all the different plans for our clients. This means I'm pretty much only using the 10-key pad. I've been working on ONE client for the past 2 1/2 weeks, entering over 100,000 rates or so. I've pretty much demolished my wrist because of this and I've been wearing a brace at work this week. And I lose the feeling in my fingers every once in a while. And my vision is getting weird because all I look at on my screen is lines of code. Great fun!
I FINALLY finished yesterday and did the happy dance. Then Brad, the guy in charge of the client's setup, called my over to his desk a little while ago. Seems that he royally fucked up and I'm going to have to go back in and change a whole bunch of rates. ARGH! I could almost cry! I just want to go home.
