it's days like these that keep me on my winning streak

YAY! I now have a *legally* obtained copy of Brokeback Mountain of my very own. Too bad I won't have time to watch until tomorrow. Boo. And, almost just as exciting, they had the new Susan Squires book, The Burning. I'm torn though because I want to start reading it RIGHTNOW, but I'm already in the middle of a book and I should probably finish that first. Fiddlesticks.

Also, I bought a new lamp because I desperately needed one. I was carrying it through the store and no less than four people commented that it looked heavy or asked if I needed a cart. Hello? It's a lamp, not a one-ton safe. I think I can handle it.

Now, dinner then Hallmark. And Thief is on tonight!!
