Bored, bored, bored

I have ZERO desire to do anything work-related today. I'm so exhausted right now. Why am I only tired during the day?? I'm wide-ass awake when I get home at night and can (and usually do) stay up for hours. I pay for it by nearly sleeping at my desk. Insomnia is such a bitch! And no, I'm not worried about anything and no, nothing is the matter. (I can't tell you how many people have asked me that) Honestly. I just can't sleep at night. And when I can sleep, I have whacked out dreams. I dreamed about The Loser again last night. This is not good. Not good at all.

In my bored internet wanderings, I stumbled across this site for my high school 10th reunion. What a great way to feel old! And like a loser, after reading everyone's bios. It was nice to find out that someone I was good friends with made it back home from Iraq safe and sound. I'd been trying to find that out for a long time. I doubt I'll go to the reunion, though. The only people I would be interested in seeing wouldn't go anyways.

I'm not at my desk today. I'm doing the front reception only one day a week now, and Wednsdays be my days.

Plus my computer is actually being looked at since some spyware crap got onto it somehow. (Please IT-guy... make it better.)

And why is your reunion on a decent date? Mine's the day before Halloween. What's up with that? Ugh. You going to yours? I don't think I'm going to mine.

My boss is gone today, so that doesn't make it any easier. I'm really, really tempted to just leave.

I don't really know if I'll go. I never actually received the invite, so I'm not sure what's in order. If it's a casual, let's just have some munchies and drinks thing, then I can probably handle it. I'll need to find out more before I decide.

On the subject of high school reunions...

Wanda and I were talking about all the kids we went to school with in the 909 (area code) Considering the area, we suspect there are very few who actually did something with their lives. Most probably ended up in jail. And as for the crowd I was with that miserable year and a half I spent in KY, I'm still the cool chick from CA. At least I waited til my 20's before I started having kids. :)

Don't feel too bad Leigh. I wasn't even notified of my reunion until a year after it happened. Nice of them huh?

I only found this site cause I was bored and looking up people's names. I haven't actually gotten the invite, although I'd guess it's sitting at my parent's house.

I think we had like 15 babies in our class before graduation. We were known as the "bad class" for a long time.

I didn't go to my 10th. I probably wouldn't have remembered anyone's name anyway...even those I was friends with.
