leighblackI haven't gotten a chance to write much here on my vacation. The other day my mom wanted to run a couple errands. And then we were gone for FIVE hours. And then Earl got pancreatitis again, so I spent part of Thursday morning at the vet and I've been helping her watch him. But I'm finally coming home tomorrow because ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
seimaisin and I are going to see the Graham Colton Band. And then it'll be back to the harsh reality of work starting on Sunday.
But first!janevok asked for some photos from around the cabin, so I put together a whole flickr set of photos of the lake, the cabin and my parents house. Some of the better ones are here!

I bought this pirate flag at the flea market and promptly hung it up in the cabana. My mother promptly told me to take it down, but it's still up.
My parents bought the house across the street from the cabin to fix up and eventually be their retirement home. It needs some work. But I really really want them to keep this awesome shag carpet in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Earl's favorite sitting spot is under the kitchen table. (this was before he got sick)
