1. Your LiveJournal user name & what it means: leighblack - It was at one time my "wrestling" name, and it's just evolved from there. Leigh is short for my real name and I just like it a lot better. Most people call me Leigh now anyways.
2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are? ummmm...I guess a 9 1/2. I think I'm pretty true to who I am in my journal. Most of you guys know me, you'd be a better judge than I am.
3. How much about your life do you post to LJ? Probably more than I should! I make sure give good details about any major things that happen in my life, usually with photos. But I also write about the dorky things, like sitting in front of my computer for hours at a time making icons.
4. Is there anything you refuse to post about? Not really. I try not to bitch about work too much, because I don't really think people care. I also try to tone down the politics and stuff, as I'd like to keep more journal more fun than that.
5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others? I have no idea. People seem to read it though, because I get plenty of comments. 8, maybe?
6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you? Yes, I have harassed several people into joining up. It's just such a nice, easy way to keep up with people's lives when they live far away!
7. What proportion of your posts are friends only? Not very many at all. I really don't have anything to hide. I only make them friends only if I have personal info or a story that shouldn't get out.
8. What is your favorite interest on LJ? Hugh Jackman, of course! I get lots of new friends because of him. But icon making and other icon type things are good too, because I've learned a LOT of cool stuff from other people.
9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own? I've never started my own community. I'm a member of quite a lot of communities, but I rarely post in them. Except for
hugh_pics, 'cause I post there a lot. Most of my communities are ones I just like to read to gather info on icon making and stuff.
10. How often do you respond to/comment on other people's journals? It depends on how busy I am. I do try to comment on journals as much as I can, because I really am interested in my friends' lives. But sometimes people write about things I have no interest in, so then I suppose I have nothing to add.
11. Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals? If I actually have something going on, then I prefer to write in my own. Otherwise, I prefer to read about the interesting things my friends are doing.
12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed or got into an argument/flame war on LJ (or did it to someone else)? I sort of got into a flame war with the psycho, so I guess that's a yes.
13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal? Nope. She left voluntarily.
14. Who are your three favorite LJ friend(s) and why? Ummm, just three?? I'm going to ignore the people who live here, because I see you all the time and you know I love you. Soooo...
cyberwuzzle, because I feel like I know her so much better now. I'm able to see why
taylorea adores her so much. And I like to read her writing and keep up with her progress on her books.
annfromdetroit, even though she doesn't post much. I love muh Annie!! I miss her and her boobs dearly and I love to hear her stories.
wonderfungus, because his journal is always entertaining. And he's teh sexay. Plus, he gets it when I squee uncontrollably about Hugh. And he has good memes, which I steal all the time.
It's hard to pick only three. There's a lot of people out there that I really enjoy reading.
15. Of all of the people on LJ you know of, who is the most like you? Probably
vampirecarly. We've often commented that we're the same person. And we both have mad love for Lockestar.
16. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list? I add people if I like comments they've made. Or if we have similar interests. Or if they're recommended to me by friends.
17. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first? Yes, usually I do.
18. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list? If their journal is written all in slang or txt or whatever you want to call it. Complete words and sentences are my friends.
19. Is your "significant other" on LJ? My invisible one? No, he's much too busy vacuuming in the nude.
20. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ? I already know or have met a lot of people on my f-list, but there are some more that I'd love to meet someday!
