I'm not participating in the lj content strike, for reasons I won't bore you with. I just fail to see how it's going to accomplish anything. If you want to get TPTB attention, you need to do something that actually affects their business. Remember the "get as many comments as possible" meme that pretty much took out lj's servers for a few days a couple years ago? Yeah, something like that.

In any case, as an anti-strike motion there's a Porn Party, a Crack!battle and a Fluff!battle going on, and I wholly approve.

I've found all my Torchwood/Doctor Who ringtones, I have a new semi-nekkid Janto wallpaper and my new phone is starting to look a little more like it's mine now. I still have some phone numbers to track down but I've got a lot of them already. Not bad for two days after phone death.

Perhaps the less said about how last night turned out the better. =/

Yup. No observance of religious holidays, except Christmas. Not a big deal. My boss and his boss are both gone, so everyone's pretty much goofing off. My ex-boss came over earlier and told me to leave early, which I'll certainly be doing.

I don't understand how they even think they are striking. They are not employed by livejournal. They are customers. It is a boycott.
