Holy crap! I ordered my new phone yesterday morning and it's already out on the UPS truck for delivery today. =) That's kind of awesome. Now I just have to hope that they don't try to deliver it before my apt office opens. Our UPS guy is usually smart enough to not do that though. But it won't be a horrible tragedy if I end up having to pick it up at the service center tomorrow. I shouldn't need my phone tonight.

I swear, that's the only time I've ever NOT had an issue getting a new phone from Sprint. When I got my red RAZR last time, it was a NIGHTMARE.

Tonight it's the Tony Lucca show! Ending our run of four concerts in 8 days. It's been fun, but I desperately need sleep.

*sigh* Look at Ianto all disheveled over there. *loves*

I have Sprint too, and they always put me through such bullshit with EVERYTHING! Oh, and my UPS guy has a bad habit of trying to drop stuff off before the office opens too. :/

What kind of phone did you get?

Last time I was on the phone for almost three hours because they lost my order and would not just re-order it for me. I got shuffled around do like a billion people. It was not a happy time.

I got a KRZR. I think it was actually on clearance, so it was a little cheaper than other phones with the same features. Since I'm wasn't eligible for a phone upgrade rebate yet.

So how long did it take to actually GET your phone last time?

My problem with them is that my phone is on my Mom's account, and she lives in Cali. For some stupid reason, even if she asks them to, Sprint will not ship a phone to anyone but the person who actually purchased it. So whenever I need a new phone they insist on shipping it to her, and then we have to wait for her to get it, and then she has to spend even more money to ship it to me, etc. It's a huge pain in the ass.

I've had a lot of problems with Sprint lately. Like every month for 4 months I was having to contact them about some issue I was having, and they would give me the runaround. Finally my Mom called them and threatened to take her business elsewhere, and got me a custom plan out of the deal, which was worth staying with Sprint for.

I had to look to see what a KRZR was. :(

It looks really nice though!

Hmmm...I originally called on a Wednesday, spent a really long time on the phone with cust service on Friday and then finally got my phone on Monday.

I share an account with my dad, but I don't usually have issues with that. They let me ship my new phone to my place instead of his. *shrugs*

Yeah, we had to do that once too. Two phones ago it was an even bigger issue and finally I was like "fine, I'll just return it and switch to T-mobile." Suddenly, there wasn't as issue anymore.
