Everyone seems to be writing those introspective "this is how I grew in the past year" posts, but that's not really for me. I'll just say that 2007 was the year of many concerts, much fun, great friends and good times. And "Your Love" by The Outfield.

2008 looks like it's going to start off pretty rocky, as I doubt my dog or my grandma will make it to the end of the month. But I'm still hopeful for the year. We already have fun plans made throughout the spring.

I'm pretty crappy with making resolutions and keeping to them, but I do have a few things that I want to accomplish this year. So maybe they're goals instead of resolutions.

1. I will read at least 75 books this year. This was my goal for 2007 too, but I kind of got derailed by working on the secret project which took up all my free time for like three months. The result is that I only got through 62 books. So this should be completely doable for 08.

2. I will successfully complete Project 365. You know, take a photo a day for a whole year. Wait! It's a leap year! Project 366, I guess. =) I will be doing this on flickr, which also has a feed at leighs_flickr.

3. I will watch the following TV shows:
Flight of the Conchords
Moonlight
Sarah Jane Adventures
Secret Diary of a Call Girl
Spaced
The Young Ones
The Office UK
The Tudors
Carnivale
The Wire
The IT Crowd
I have all of them either sitting here on my hard drive or on DVD and haven't watched them. Or watched an episode or two and then gave up.

I will write a more coherent post about my New Year's Eve. I'm waiting to get my photos back so I can post them too. Since we're going to Avenue Q tonight, this might not happen until tomorrow. But I promise it'll happen!

I used to watch The Young Ones all the time. So I've probably seen all the episodes. It's just been years. Then I downloaded the entire series a few months ago, planning to watch them right away...well, that didn't go anywhere.
