The Wentz ranted about the Grammy nominations being decided by old dudes out of touch with today's music, or something like that. I came across this part:
"we just want to be a part of your club. we feel like the orphans in the movie the warriors, when we are just dying to be the baseball furies."
And you know I sure as hell didn't read that as 'furies' the first time. Or the second.

Okay, this will only make sense to a couple of you. But those folks will find it funny as hell!

What's sad is that...it's not old dudes doing the nominations. It's the recording academy which includes pretty much everybody in the industry (the artists themselves as well).

The truth is that I really don't care about Pete and his whining. I DO care about the fact that "Pete Wentz is a Furry" is one of our private jokes that makes us laugh hysterically for long periods of time. =)

I get the furry reference, but I personally don't find anything interesting about furries. I think the whole furry thing is just plain ODD.

I am completely fascinated by furries. Not that I want anything to do with them. But that level of strange is certainly interesting.

I can understand that. I was flipping channels once and I spotted something on ch 38 (whatever it's name is, I don't know...but I'm thinking it's TLC)...and there she/they were...twin sisters, joined pretty much from the shoulders down. YUP...essentially looked like one person with a slightly deformed spine and TWO necks & heads. SO ODD...I was SO fascinated!!
I'm fascinated by little people, too. :) I try not to stare, but they're just different enough from me that I'm like "OOOH! NEAT!" - same sort of thing with people who have port wine birthmarks...but I guess the main difference is that these people were born this way, not made this way by life's circumstances.
