First off, welcome to khakigrrl! She always has faboo Hugh icons!


Last night went pretty well. There was wine. There was Hugh. What could be better? We watched Van Helsing: The London Assignment and laughed uproarously through the whole thing. I don't think it was supposed to be funny. It was just so awfully cheesy!

I got to meet taylorea's new doggie! Oh, she's so cute! Her name is Penny and she's just a little peanut. She's a rescue dog, so she's really nervous around people. But she calms down pretty well.

Bren should have some more pics in her journal, once she wakes up. I'll be dog sitting for Penny for a while tonight, as they want someone to be around her still. Yay! I get puppy love!

I was going to finish up my icons for hugh_pics while dog sitting, but Bren's monitor is kind of shitty and the colors are bad. (BTW hon, I think I know why) So, since I can't work on them there, I just decided to stay up last night and finish them. I finally turned off the computer at 1:30am. Seriously, who needs sleep? I have nine icons in all, and I think they look pretty cool. Of course, as I snuggled into bed, I had a great idea for another one. I jumped out of bed and wrote it down so I wouldn't forget. It'll be pretty easy to whip up, so I can do it quickly tonight. So, now I'll have ten icons ready to post for the contest. Yipes!

Last night, I also decided that I really needed to brush out my hair since it was all snarly and tangled. I know how much Bren loves messing with my hair, so I offered the job to her. She seemed pretty happy to oblige! So, just for you wonderfungus my darling, here's the result:



I can actually get it bigger than that, but I needed to be able to see around the hair while driving home. ;)

Just two days until I get to see my girlies in Chicago! Not to mention my second-favorite road crew. Oh yeah, and those Brides of Destruction guys. I can't wait! Then lunch with Chandler on Sunday, and rockerlee coming to visit for the BOD show here on Tues. Yay! I actually have things to do!! Oh, and apparently I am infamous. We're meeting up with jawakimchee's friend Jezi in Chi-town. I know her from around boards and stuff. Kim said that she said something like "I get to meet LeighBlack?!" But, don't worry, I won't let it go to my head. Just remember to bow down before me and everything will be fine. :)

YAY YA YAY ! I just wish I could see Leigh and Lee. Did I tell you guys what Motleigh/Jezi is doing? She lives in Buffalo, NY, she went to Pittsburgh last night for BOD, she's going to Cleveland tonight, diving here in the morning, we are going to Detroit then driving back here after the show, then heading from here to Julee's for Chicago BOD, then Sun, she is driving me home and heading home. So........one might see how the legendary LeighBlack is an inspiration to young Jezi.

I know. It's just not going to be the same without Lee there on Sat. We won't get the play the game where we both answer when you call one of us! I thought Jezi lived in Buffalo. That's quite a trip for her! I miss those days...*sniff* Oh wait, that was just last year.
