leighblackSooooo, yeah. Again with the whacked dreams. I seem to always have them during the period I'm playing tag with my snooze alarm. Or those are the only dreams I remember.
First dream: I was walking through Wal-Mart and looked over and Prince was working there as some sort of promotion for his CD. He was working in the paint department and wearing a red vinyl suit. I was a little star struck as I walked by and gaped, so I mumbled "hi" and kind of scurried past. Then pretty much stalked him around the department. Weirdly, no one else seemed to notice that he was Prince. I reached for my cell to take a photo, realized that I didn't have it and was crushed because I knew no one would believe me without proof. I finally decided that I'd go buy some paint I didn't need and was looking through colors when I woke up.
Second dream: A friend (who shall remain nameless) had crashed at my place after a night out and we were talking on my bed in the morning. She was a little despondent about not getting any attention at the bar the night before and I was trying to comfort her. And then she started going on about how, when she was younger, her father was going to molest her but decided she was too fat and ended up going after her sister instead. And said something about how her daddy didn't even want her. I was all "That's a GOOD thing." I continued to try to calm her down but then I woke up again.
Third dream: I was at work, although it wasn't in our building but there were some of my coworkers there. I was trying to use one of the computers that can burn CDs to copy something and talking to my old boss. I noticed how nice it was outside and how you could see to the bottom of the small river that ran behind the building. And then there were big ducks swimming around in a formation and a little bird that was riding on top of one of them and chirping away. Kind of like a Disney musical number or something. And then I noticed all the gigantic fish that were swimming around very quickly. They had huge fins and were all weird colors, like pink and yellow and purple. And then I woke up once again.
What the fuck, subconscious?? I don't even want to begin to figure these out. I know for a fact that this friend was not molested by a family member and I know that I was not molested by a family member. So I have no idea what my brain is doing while I'm sleeping. I think it might be time to start drinking before bed. =/

It freaked me out, because she doesn't smoke menthols, and that rant doesn't exist. And I'm just stressed about the price of smokes in Chicago.
But brain dump dreams are always hilarious. I haven't had a string of weird ones in a while. You win.
