I'm sure many of you fellow music addicts have a list of bands that you must see live before you die. Certainly one of mine is The City Drive. I'm hoping that it'll definitely happen this summer. I'm willing to road trip! Of course, the sad part is that they're playing in LA on Wednesday. I leave on Monday. =/

Another one of those bands is Motochrist. I LOVE Motochrist!!! They're a great rock n roll band! And a couple of my favorite people in the world are in the band. I was supposed to see them a few years ago, but my trip was all screwed up. (the less said about that disaster, the better) Then they were supposed to tour through here a couple summers ago and it didn't happen. And now they scheduled a sudden show...tomorrow night. I fly in on Thursday. *cries* Believe me, I sent a very tersely worded message to Mr. Stewart about it not being fair.

Is it bad that I have no compulsion to dress up at all this year? Not even a skirt. I'm thinking jeans and a tank and my Doc sandals. Maybe fancier pants if I'm feeling up to it. This is the year of the lazy casual.

I've been trying to see Everclear in concert probably since So Much For The Afterglow came out, when I was eleven. Turns out they're putting on a free concert, in San Francisco, which is half an hour away from where I live, along with another of my favorite bands (Smashmouth)...the same day my sister is graduating from UC Davis. *headdesk*

So close, and yet so far...
