I hardly have words to explain just how completely wonderful this weekend has been. I got to hang out with some of my favorite people, made some new friends and met some cool people and...oh yeah, saw two fucking awesome shows! I am more in love with Butch Walker right now than I ever thought I could possibly be. Tonight's show at the Fine Line was pretty much perfect. Except that I still haven't gotten to meet Butch! It's okay though. I'm over it. The adorable girls in Rocket made up for it because they were super fucking cool. Lauren was sad that it was my last night and they were trying to get us to drive to Appleton tomorrow.

This post probably makes no sense as I'm sure I'm just rambling. I'm completely exhausted from getting little sleep and being sick, but completely pumped up from the show. It's going to be hard to drag myself out of bed to drive up to St. Cloud tomorrow, but I want to see my brother so I'll do it. I feel bad for poor seimaisin who has to work in the morning!

I have tons and tons of photos and videos that I will work on posting asap! The video of "Best Thing" from tonight is fucking fantastic!

It is 7:40am. I am at work. I will regret being such a good little soldier later today I know. Right now, though, I've got "Alecia Amnesia" stuck in my head and a can of Cherry Coke Zero. It'll be enough for a while. ;)

I'm also transferring my photos and videos to the laptop as we speak. Because I'm a big dork who brought her laptop to work with her just to be able to do that. :D

I kind of feel like death warmed over right now. Maybe it's a NyQuil hangover. My mom called a few minutes ago & told me I sound like crap. Gee, thanks. But I am about to jump in the shower so I can get back in the car. =)

I wasn't kidding about bringing my laptop to the baseball game. I'm about to pack it back up. I guess I'll finally get to see exactly how long the battery lasts.
