I sent the link to cyberwuzzle's adoption journal to my mom yesterday since she's all about looking at the cute babies and she's been asking me how their trip is going. She called me today to say that she'd been to the blog and loved it. I was all "Did you just use the word blog??" o_O She just might move into the technology of this century, by golly!

But she'll still always wish she still had a rotary phone.

I love rotary phones. I have a very old one, 1940's-ish, that no longer works now that I have Vonage. Sometimes, progress just ain't.

I'll bet that if I looked through the storage area I'd find the avocado green rotary phone that was in my parent's kitchen the entire time I lived in that house. They finally replaced it with a chrome touch tone phone that looks just like a rotary, but with buttons instead of a dial.

Oooh, I bet that's the one from Pottery Barn. I have that one also, in black. Its ringer is wicked loud.
