Yeeeeeeeeouch!!

I am a dumbass and just managed to slice open my finger on a cracked mirror. Thankfully, it's the pinkie on my left hand, so it doesn't get much use, but it's still annoying. And still bleeding. And it hurts like a mo fo. I don't even want to think what it's going to hurt like tomorrow. *whines*

Happily, I was able to locate my little first aid kit so I do have an antiseptic towelette and a band-aid or two at my disposal. Otherwise I was going to have to haul my bleeding self down to Walgreens at 10pm. =/

Geez. What a wonderful start to the week.

Ouch! Is it at least a clean cut?? Those seem to heal a lot better. For awhile (knock on wood-based substance) I was doing a damned fine job of slicing open a finger every other week while cooking. I've learned I'd rather slice a finger with a nice, sharp Wusthof knife over a Ginsu knife ANY day.....

Yeah, it's a clean cut. Just sliced on an angle. The top part of the cut seemed to have closed up overnight. But the bottom part is right over my knuckle and that baby isn't going to close up nice and easy. Yay! I'm going to have yet another scar on my hands. =/

Oh man. I would have been crying if it was in the middle of my hand. This hurts bad enough as it is for just a little cut. I'm sure it's just because it's over my knuckle and therefore it bends a lot.

Sorry you hurt yourself. I burned myself (hot oil splatter) yesterday, and it's still sensitive to... well, everything.

Whew thank god for 24/7 Walgreen's huh? Well, at least well hopefully it was a clean cut so it'll heal faster.

(I know how you feel I almost cut off the tip of my left pointer finger on Thanksgiving!)

Yeah, I was worried it might need stitches, but it seems to be okay today. I have no desire to go to the doctor for this.
