Well, now that I have my iPod and it's all synched up, my last.fm charts are a more accurate representation of what I actually listen to. I listen to way more music in the car and at work than I ever do at home.

Wait, so, if you play your iPod away from the desk, it still records in Audioscrobbler? BITCHIN!

Yeah, well you have to use the correct plugin. I use jscrob2 (http://www.last.fm/forum/827/_/47398). The plugin reads the recently played list, so when you sync your iPod to iTunes, last.fm will catch the songs played on the iPod. It's not perfect, but it works pretty well.

I'm going to guess that the newer generation iPods actually keep track of recently played stuff? Cuz mine sure as hell doesn't.

I've used jscrob2 for a while and I really like it. You just have to make sure to sync your iPod up before playing anything in iTunes, otherwise you'll trigger the spam protection thing.
