1. First of all, where in Minnesota do you live?
In the burbs, yah. Inver Grove Heights, specifically.
2. What's your favorite lake in MN?
Round Lake, where our cabin is
3. Have you ever been ice fishing?
No. I don't fish anymore since I don't eat them. What's the point?
4. Have you ever eaten fish that you caught?
Maybe when I was young. I haven't eaten fish in many, many years.
5. Do you go four-wheeling?
Never have been. I don't know anyone who has one!
6. Do you go snowmobiling?
Never have been.
7. Did you go trick-or-treating in that snow storm of 1991?
YES! Even though I was far too old to be trick-or-treating at 15. But seriously, there was no one else out there so the candy was all mine! Under the pretense of taking my sister out, my friend and I quickly threw some costumes together and went out. We had to keep coming back to dump our soggy candy out in the bathtub to dry off. But it was worth it since we had TONS of candy! And we got to watch our very, very drunk HS football team stumbling around drunk and making snow angels in the street slush.
8. Do you go camping?
Not very often. I'm more of a city girl. But certainly have been camping.
9. Do you ever use the word "spendy"?
Yes. *hangs head in shame*
10. Does your vehicle have rust on it or salt damage?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh my! Yes! All over the place.
11. Have your locks ever frozen shut?
Yes. They used to do it all the time on my Metro, but the truck lock never froze so I could always climb in through the hatch. I rarely lock the doors on my current car, so the locks don't really freeze. The doors freeze shut once in a while though.
12. Have you ever built a snow fort taller than you?
Who hasn't??
13. Where did you go sledding as a child?
On the hill at my elementary school. Or at Marthaler Park. Which was tall. You couldn't go up and down it too many times.
14. Have you ever ice skated outdoors?
Sure. All the time. We had a rink in our yard for a couple years, or else I went down to skate at the Harmon Park rinks.
15. Did you ever get your tongue stuck to something outside in the winter?
Actually, no. I've seen A Christmas Story too many times.
16. Did you ever pour water over something on purpose in the winter to make it slippery?
Not that I remember. But maybe.
17. Did you ever have snow slushies?
No, but I ate fresh snow like it was going out of style. Still do, once in a while.
18. Have you ever accidentally gone to school on a day where school was cancelled due to weather?
We had very, very few snow days. We're tough here, ya know! A few feet of snow doesn't scare us! Actually, I lived very close to both my elementary & jr high, so I could see when people weren't around.
19. Did you ever throw a snowball in someone's face?
Duh. I used to sit on our roof and throw snowballs at the kids from St. Joe's, since they got out later than we did and would walk home later. Plus, I have younger siblings, so it was my job to pelt them with snowballs.
20. Do you prefer St. Cloud area or Twin Cities area?
The Cities. St. Cloud is okay, but not really for me. They have a super nice B&N though.
21. Do you like city or country?
CITY!!!
22. Have you ever had more than one tick on you at a time?
Oh, probably. I used to run around in high grass all the time.
23. Have you ever burned garbage in a bon fire?
Yeah. You put in different kinds of plastic to see what colors you can get the flames to be. Or put 24 can boxes upright to make flames shoot through them. Or try to get the fire hot enough to melt cans. Doesn't everyone do this??
24. Have you ever gone to a Twins game?
We used to have Season Tickets! I've been on the field and in the locker rooms and everything.
25. Have you ever gone to a Vikings game?
No. I'm not much into football.
26. Have you ever gone to a Timberwolves game?
No. I'm not much into basketball either.
27. Did you ever forget to wear pants under your snow pants?
Can't say that every happened to me. =/
28. Did you eat icicles?
Who didn't?? It was like a game to see how big of one you could pull off the roof without bringing them all down on your head.
30. Do you own a dog that has gotten sprayed by a skunk?
No, but he's gotten attacked by a raccoon.
31. Do you drink Boone's Farm?
Oh man. When I was little. Like very little. Like 2. I thought it was juice and used to drink it when my mom had it in the fridge. Now I have more discerning tastes. My mom still drinks it alot though. And I think there's a bottle in my fridge right now.
32. Do you drink beer?
Nope. Vodka for me, please!
33. Do you have at least one friend who has a beard?
I have a lot of friends with beards.
34. Do you say "so" before you start a sentence most the time?
So, like all the time!
35. Do you carry an ice scraper in your car all year?
Yep! Always behind my driver's seat. You never know when you might need it.
36. Do you have to add sand bags to the bed of your truck?
Nooooooooo
37. Have you ever gotten a leech stuck to you?
Sure. Happens a lot.
38. Have you ever caught a snapper?
Yep. We lived my a little pond and there were turtles around all the time.

I think one of the ones in the fish house might be mine. I used to have a Snoopy one too.
40. Whats your favorite restaurant?
Probably Ichiban's, downtown. LOVE that place!
41. What's your favorite club?
Ha ha ha. I never go out around here. First Avenue, just because how can you not love First Ave??

Can't say I really have one.

There's too many places to choose from. Duluth is gorgeous. And I loved Gooseberry Falls.
44. Where's your favorite place to cruise?
Cruise as in by boat? Or cruise as in looking for action??
45. Which grocery store do you shop at?
There's a tiny Cub that's nevery busy by my place, so I shop there.
46. Have you ever partied in a barn?
Indeed, I have.

Negative

*snicker* No, but my mom does. Three, in fact. I stick to bats myself.

hmmmm...I don't think so. I stick to lakes.

How can you pick one thing?? I love it here! Maybe sitting on the dock at night at watching the stars, far far away from the city lights.

Okay, yeah, so winter sucks, don't ya know? But it's really not all that horrible.
I was watching Fargo earlier today and that movie always makes me laugh. And look for places I see everyday. Like the parking lot and 12th floor of my office building!
