Point 1: The first show of the Poison/Cinderella tour will be in Mankato on June 13th. The last time Poison opened a tour there I got 2nd row seats (and snuck into the front row) and ended up at a strip club with Phil Varone. Must remember to find out about ticket info. I'm sure someone would agree to go with me.

Point 2: Pearl Jam is going to be on SNL on April 15th. Does anyone know if it's true that Prince is going to be on American Idol sometime soon? I know it was a rumor but have no idea if it was confirmed.

Point 3: Actually, I have no point 3. It just seemed like I should have 3.

This one I can help with.

The AI producers have been in talks with Prince about appearing on the show. He wants to come on and perform on the Wednesday results show. However, right now he doesn't have time to actually visit with the contestants. So for the time being, it's a no.

One of the producers was on the radio this morning and he was very annoyed at Shakira who "used American Idol" to promote herself, but wouldn't "get off her ass" to say hello to the contestants.

In other words, if artists want to come on the show for promotion, they better make time for the contestants.

I'm plotting out roadtrips to many of the midwest Poison weekend shows (an I'm hoping hoping hoping that I have to actually PURCHASE tickets for very few of them)...KC is on a Saturday...yaysies! But it's in July...boo.

Not that I NEED to see Poison a jillion times, but after last summer, it seems necessary to see Cinderella a bunch.
