What I've done at work today...

- Wrote birthdays and such on my new Scottie Dog calendar
- Started filling in info in my brand new address book, which will NOT get lost like all my other address books
- Worked on a lame report that IT should have done, but I took it because I was bored
- Read "Brokeback Mountain"
- Hit refresh on my email about eight thousand times
- Read the City Pages
- Talked to Gay Work Boyfriend about gay cowboys and such for almost an hour

*snoooooooooore*

Last night was my first official night of being an actual Hallmark employee. I have my own key to the store now and everything. I'm going to have to start keeping a book or magazine with me at all times though, because there was at least an hour or so where no one came in. My mom was putting up Valentine's Day stuff, so I helped her. I won't always have something like that to do.

Going to see the gay_cowboys again tonight. YAY!! It'll cut into the time I'd planned to use to make icons, but I'm sure I can do both. ;)

Good luck with the job. Hopefully they'll get you your paychecks on time. Another friend of mine just quit Hallmark because the checks were regularly late by two or three days.

Eh, it's just a job. I've been there for a month as seasonal help, so I know what I'm getting into. Last night was just my first as an actual part-timer.

Tracey probably just got a crappy franchise owner. My mom's worked at this store for about ten years, so I'm sure I'd hear about if there was a problem with the checks.

I don't know. She said that the checks never came in from the company headquarters on time. But anyway...she seems happier with what she's doing now.

Sorry. I'm pretty sure we have an exclusive contract with a local candy company. They make the yummiest caramels EVAR!
