To the locals:

With the Holidays soon upon us, my mother was wondering if people would like to participate in a cookie exchange. If you don't know, that's where, if 10 people are participating, you make 10 dozen of one kind of cookie. Then, you get together and exchange cookies with each other, so everyone ends up with 10 different kinds of cookies. Because it's much easier than making 10 different kinds yourself, especially since everyone is busy during the holidays. And they don't have to be cookies either. Bars or such are fine too. I'm specifically looking in the direction of taylorea, duckduck and auroram here, but everyone is invited, of course! Just let me know if you'd be interested! We're trying to see how many people will join up before we set all the details.

ETA: Looks like we're aiming to do the exchange on Dec 1st.

I would totally be interested - I heard everyone talking about these exchanges last year and I thought it sounded fun. I've never done it before, but boy do I love baking. I'm in.

That could be fun ... :) I'm feeling Scrooge-y, yes, but I never say no to Christmas cookies. And I actually have a kitchen to bake in now!

Yes! Join us! We're doing it early enough that you don't necessarily have to think of it as a Christmas thing. Just a cookie thing! And who can resist cookies??
