I have successfully made it back home from Kansas City. The bad thing about driving through Iowa is that you encounter a whole damn state full of fucking Iowa drivers. When you decide to pass the vehicle in front of you, you must actually drive FASTER than the other vehicle!! If you move into the next lane and then drive the same exact speed as the other car, it's not going to help you out very much!
And if you're going to spend 13 hours in a car with no air conditioning, try NOT to plan it on the hottest weekend of the year. It was just a little bit warm in my car. And my left arm is now bright red. There is no way that I'll ever be able to even out this tan.
But anyhow, I had a blast in KC! Lee, JJ, Melissa & I spent a lot of time gossiping about the Faster boys. How could you have more fun than that?? They are all completely terrific. I'm so glad that I went down there.
The Peppermint Creeps show was so much fun! I got wasted. Very very wasted. The Creeps were pink. Very very pink. Traci was awesome! He was trying to tell me that he remembered me from the Key Club show in October, but I highly doubt that. They were all very appreciative that people would drive hours and hours to see them play. Traci promised to get me on the list in Detroit. We'll see if that works out. I can't wait until Thursday!
