I made a preeeeeety new icon!! *snicker*

I went to the Irish Fair tonight with duckduck, taylorea, auroram and seimaisin. It was fun! Flogging Molly played and there was some fabulous crowd watching to be had.

Consider this the official announcement: We will be celebrating my birthday on Thursday, August 25th. We'll be going to Jersey's to see Holiday. All the local peeps and everyone else is invited! cyberwuzzle and J will be up from Kentucky, and rockerlee will be up from KC. It's bound to be a good time!

Yep! I know absolutely nothing about Flogging Molly, but they were really good. I enjoyed it!

My bday is on Labor Day weekend, so everyone will be busy. Including me, as I'll be out of town. Plus, cyberwuzzle will be in town to do some book signings, and it was a good reason to gatehr everyone together in one place so we could all see her. So, we're doing it a week early.

Oh, and all I know about Flogging Molly is that Dave King used to be in Fastway and Katmandu and that before they really got big, they played here in Kansas City/Lawrence ALL the time.
