Oh well...) after three years of frustration, have finally figured out how to fix my QuickTime player so that it doesn't sound like complete crap. *sobs* I'm so happy that I finally figured it out!! And equally embarrassed that I did figure it out sooner.

Date: 2005-07-13 04:20 am (UTC)Essentially, go to Edit>Preferences>QuickTime Preferences. Select "Sound Out" and change it to Wave Out: Windows Preferred Device.
It all seems so easy now that I know!
