I was hoping the slight sunburn on my forehead would just tan out, but no. It's peeling. I look like I have some sort of rotting skin disease. It's lovely. My arm and chest are still pretty red. I'm sure they'll start peeling soon too, but at least I can cover them up.

Last night, the ever-entertaining duckduck graciously offered to feed me dinner. We sat around and gossiped about all things road trips, work, lj, Harry Potter, icons and Audioscrobbler. It was a very nice evening. It's good for me to get out of the house! Thanks again, my dear!

Tonights goals are: laundry, finish writing recap of LA trip, recap of last weekend, work on icons, scam food from mom. We'll see how much of that gets accomplished. I'm pretty proud that I did make two new icons last night and I remembered to add them to the "Newest Iconnage" component on my journal. So far I'm doing pretty well with keeping things updated! Go me!

Oh, and Julee, I haven't gotten a chance to mail your shirt out yet. I will. I swear!

Actually, this week hasn't been too bad. People have already been leaving me alone. But I'll keep it as a ready excuse, just in case.

Maureen has always been my favorite character. She's going to have a bigger part in the film, and that makes me happy.

Having not seen the musical, I don't know if I have a favorite character, but I do really like both Maureen and Joanne. And I kinda have a fondness for Mark, as much as anyone can.

I am nuts. But usually, I can pop out two or three icons in a sitting (depending on how inspired I feel), so I think I'm doing okay. I mean, I've done five in the last two days, and if I keep going at this clip, I'll finish without issue.

Maureen has always been my favorite, because she's kick ass and bitchy. Gotta love that! Collins is definitely 2nd on my list.

I just have trouble coming up with random ideas for icons. If someone requests something from me, then I'm okay. And sometimes I just see a pic that screams "Icon me!!" But just randomly just picking out pics and turning them into icons...I'd run out of text ideas after like 5 of them.

I love her drama-queen complex, I have to say. And I like the odd-couple-ness of her and Joanne. (And I love "The Tango Maureen." And "Take Me Or Leave Me." Hee.)

I find that if I'm actively watching the show, I come up with all sorts of ideas. I've iconed about six different caps from Secrets and Lies in the last few days because I watched those eps. Which is a good thing, really. (Though some are textless, because I couldn't think of anything to say on them.)

Hey! If it makes you feel better, I got burned and it peeled on my forehead too. That was bad enough. But funnier than that for reasons too long to explain, I had A STRIPE OF UNBURNED skin, paler than the rest, right in the middle of it. A stripe on my head. Yeah, I felt really cool. =\
