Today is: a) Friday b) payday and c) Road Trip day!!

I'm so happy! I can't wait to get out of here, even if I'm not really going anywhere all that more exciting. I was up until 1am making new CDs last night. My total driving time is going to be about 12 hours, but I have three shiny new CDs with about 25 hours worth of music. I think I should be set. ;)

I'll be heading to Rice Lake, WI this afternoon to see my friend Joyous and watch Bret Michaels at Aquafest. Then I'll go back in the other direction and drive down to Des Moines for Sat to see the KC girls. We'll be seeing Bret/Slaughter/Skid Row at Waterstock Rock and then Backyard Babies at Hairy Mary's. YAY!

I haven't packed yet since I still don't know what I want to bring with. It's hard to pack for outdoor shows! I have about an hour free after work, during which I'll be packing, buying a bulb for my turn signal, cleaning out my backseat and throwing my bills in the mail. I'm sure I'll get it all done.

But YAAAAAAAAY!!! Road trip!! It finally feels like summer. =)


Oh, and have fun with my Faster boys, Rikki! I wish I could be out there with you guys.

Hey there. Is there any way you can pick me up a Backyard Babies t-shirt? I just got paid today so I didn't have the money at the shows I was at. I can paypal you the cash and I'll pay for shipping too or you can bring it if i'll see you this summer. I have the tank but I want the babydoll t. Last night in Milwaukee there were like 15 people at the show so you may be getting your own personal performance! I'm not complaining. Oh and get a close look at the secondary singer for The Chelsea Smiles...the one that stands in the center. I didn't notice when he was onstage, but when I talked to him after, all I could think was Johnny Monaco but taller. He's a hottie.

I really should have gone to MN, IA, and KS. I'm slapping myself now. Thanks for the shirt thingy! The one I want is I believe the only baby doll. It's black with the white skull and crossbones logo. I guess a large unless they look really big...then a medium. I think they were $15. Thanks again and have fuuuun!!! I can't believe I'm not seeing them again. :(
