After some debate, we ended up at The Olive Garden for lunch. It was really good! Then we wandered over to Target and Carly managed to find a great top - a black stretchy tank with rhinestone straps. Almost as good as my $9 Wal-Mart skirt (which I sadly did not end up wearing at all). We hung out around the house and did more domestic things after that for a while. And Carly introduced me to a special spot in Hell known as "The Sound of One Hand Clapping." =(
Chandler called when he was free from work and asked if I wanted to grab some Jack in the Box with him & his friend, Manders. Since I figured whatever clubs we hit later would be loud and not conversation inviting, and since I miss him tremendously, I told him that dinner would be lovely. Even at Jack in the Box. Directions were given and finally Chan showed up at Casa de VampireBill.
It feels like forever since I've seen Chandler, but in reality it's only been 5 months. Still, it was nice to give him a big hug after so long. We decided we didn't really want to eat at Jack in the Box, and browbeat Manders until she agreed to Chinese Food instead. They knew of a delicious place right down the street from Carly's place and that's where went off to.
Dinner was very interesting. Very. Our conversation mainly included things that are probably best not discussed at the dinner table. Romping in the sheets, blowjob etiquette, etc. Somehow we landed on the topic of my gay ex-boyfriend, which confounded both Chan & Manders. We did also discuss normal things, although Manders was quite confused about how it's a normal activity to actually meet people you know from the Internets. As that is a fairly common occurance for me, I tried to explain it as best I could. It is how Chandler & I met, after all.
After stuffing ourselves, we dropped Manders off and went back to Casa de VampireBill. Chandler came in to say hello and give us directions to his place before leaving to get ready for the evening. Carly was very happy to learn that we had settled on going to The Abbey, although she was a little disappointed that there wouldn't be any go-go boys, like at Micky's. Chris had arrived while we were at dinner and I think he was rather bemused by all the "fabulous" talk.
I cleaned myself up and changed into my own faboo outfit (really just my green & black skirt and a black scoop neck shirt) in record time. Since we wouldn't all fit well into Chan's Jeep, Carly had agreed to drive. We piled into her car, picked Chan up from his place and headed the heck out of the Valley. We even managed to find a primo FREE parking spot when we got to WeHo!
If someone was going to create a club especially for

Chandler dragged us back there in hopes that it would be a little less crowded, and it somewhat was. The Abbey specialty is their large list of House Martinis. I was playing the role of Sugar Mama for Carly and we started off with a round of Raspberry Martinis. Yummmmmm! They were big & ultra-alcoholic, so the price wasn't bad at all. I could tell it wasn't going to take many to kick my ass.

It was kind of loud in there, so it was a little hard to talk. Instead, we kind of absorbed the atmosphere. I don't know what it is about me, but I must be a magnet for the gay boys because they wouldn't leave me alone. Not that I wanted them too. ;) But I have never, ever been groped as much as I was that night. I got kissed, hands pushed down my shirt, twirled, hugged and more. Chandler decided that I was good bait for him, but it didn't work out too well since the boys would adore me and then walk away. Don't feel too bad for Chan though. He made out all right that night.

(I think this photo is to condtradict anyone that ever says I'm photogenic)
Carly suddenly noticed the female bartender and decided that she wanted to keep her. As we all seemed to be willing to feed addictions, we gave Carly our money whenever we needed another drink so she could order. Carly really decided that she wanted a photo of her and Chan stepped up to the plate. I'm sure the poor girl was confused as to why the half-drunk boy wanted a to take a photo of her, but she was game.
After more drinks than I could really count, we moved outside to the patio, where we encountered Chandler's friend

Rachel unwittingly posing for her new stalkers
Chandler had met a guy the weekend before and was hoping he'd show up. Chan got a phone call that he'd arrived and suddenly he was gone. We didn't see him again for at least an hour. We ended up going back inside so we could sit down, and Carly & Chris could be closer to the bar. Carly tried to woo Rachel's affections with a dollar that Chris folded into a frog. And she tried to convince the hubby that she could bring her home.
Finally, close to closing time, Chandler showed back up and started sweet talking me. It seemed he & the boy from the week before were hitting it off and he no longer needed a ride home. In other words, I was getting ditched. Fine. Whatever. Don't mind me. I just flew 2,000 miles to see you. He gave me a last kiss on the cheek and disappeared.
We ended up getting kicked out of The Abbey at closing by a not very friendly man and stumbled down the sidewalk to the car. We had a LOT of alcohol between the three of us. But, we managed to get ourselves to Canter's for some late night eats. My French Dip was divine, but Carly's Reuben smelled revolting. I don't know how she ate it.
I don't know how the hell we got home, because I crashed out in the backseat. Sleep was soooooo wonderful at that point. But we did make it home and in one piece. We said goodbye to Chris as he still had to drive back to Irvine. Carly walked in the door and collapsed into bed, but I managed to change and take my contacts out before crashing on the couch.
All in all, if I dare say so, it was a fabulous night!!
Except for getting ditched, of course. :P
