Music Meme from
hollywoodrose
1) Total number of CDs I own: 690 (laugh at my spreadsheets all you want, but it made that easy to look up)
2) The last CD I bought: A new copy of Blackboard Jungle's I Like it Alot (B-Sides & Demos) since mine is toast
3) The last CD I listened to: I so rarely listen to actual CD's anymore...The Dandy Warhols Come Down I think
4) Five (5) CDs that I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):
Rent OBCR
Wicked OBCR
Bill Hicks - Rant in E-Minor
Faster Pussycat - Wake Me When it's Over
Killingbird - Waste Another Yesterday
But really, I mostly listen to mix CDs or my WMP.

Things you enjoy meme from
vampirecarly
[MEME!] Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. When you are mindless bored and need a way to suck away time. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
1. Listening to music. It's the ulitmate for me. I have a Relaxation playlist that I put on whenever I'm stressed and it completely soothes me.
2. Driving. Aimlessly, if need be. Do you always need a place to go? I actually like being in the car, alone, with the music cranked so I can sing along at the top of my lungs. It's more difficult now that it's summer and I have my windows open, but who really cars about those other drivers anyways?
3. Reading. Which I don't do enough of lately. I read five books on my trip. Five! It was heavenly!! Books are one of my worst addictions.
4. Doing something, anything on my computer. Yes, I know that's the geek answer. So, sue me. I enjoy messing around with my 'puter. Screencapping, icon making, working on a website, moving files around, cleaning up my massive amount of PSP brushes - whatever. It doesn't matter. All the stress from work just melts away.
5. Going up to the cabin. It's a total Minnesota thing, but it really works. It's only 2 hours away, but it's like it's another world. I can sit on the dock at night and watch the stars for hours. And this is coming from a total city girl.
Tag - you're it! Again, help yourself.
As long as I'm here, I'll do the book meme that's been floating around. Lately seen in
cyberwuzzle's journal.
1. How many books do you own? 1,967 (again, laugh at the spreadsheets, but that's a lot of books to keep track of!)
2. The last book you bought? Life, Love and the Pursuit of Hotties by Katie Maxwell and Confessions of a Lingerie Addict by Jennifer Ashley. Both were really good. I could not put the Jennifer Ashley one down! It's the reason I only had an hour of sleep before leavinf for the airport on Thursday.
3. Last book you read? I last finished Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris (also good) and I'm in the middle of Susan Squires' The Companion right now.
4. 5 books that mean a lot to you: Oh jebus...only five?
Killing Dance - Laurell K. Hamilton
Interview With the Vampire - Anne Rice
Drawing Blood - Poppy Z. Brite
Sunglasses After Dark - Nancy A. Collins
Beauty - Robin McKinley
And now, off to bed.
