Rent Trailer News

Status: Rumor From A Valid Source
MovieMusicals.net has learned that the teaser trailer for the upcoming 'Rent' flick shall debut online on June 7 exclusively at AOL.
The teaser is just over two minutes in length and is already playing in select cities, such as Los Angeles and New York. The trailer features the song "Seasons of Love."
Due to hit theatres nationwide on November 11, 2005, 'Rent' is the motion picture adaptation of the hit Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway musical.
Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire, Stepmom) directs this Revolution Studios film, to be distributed by Columbia Pictures. Original cast members from the Broadway production, Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, and Anothony Rapp return to reprise their roles in the film. Joining them are Rosario Dawson, who shall take on the role of "Mimi," and Tracie Thoms, who shall portray "Joanne Jefferson."
