I had this update I was going to write about my non-exciting weekend, but right now I'm just sitting here stunned.

Bless people who are willing to sneak video cameras into theaters just to film the Rent trailer.

It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The movie is going to be amazing!

I have got to find a theater that's playing the trailer so I can see it on the big screen!

(And, equally as important, do we know what movies they've attatched the trailer to, because I'm tempted to treat myself to a movie for trailery goodness, provided it's a movie that, you know, doesn't suck.)

Exactly. I was tearing up at my desk this morning while watching it covertly.

Dude, I can't wait for November to get here. I'm already planning to take the day off so I can go to the first showing.

Right now, it only seems to be attached to Revenge of the Sith at AMC theaters, and it appears to be a coastal/big city thing. But you could try calling around.

Seriously, they did such a good job synching the words to the images they showed, and it looks like it's going to be stunning. My "surviving student teaching" gift to myself will be Rent, since the movie comes out literal days after I finish student teaching. And, though I may have to go alone, it is SO worth it.

Damn. Then there's definitely going to be no trailerage out here in podunkia. My dad, however, is itching to see Sith back at home, and we're kindanearChicagoalmost. Why must you tease us with your beautiful trailer, Rent? Come to all cities! Do not discriminate!

Yeah, it's a really good trailer. And it's only the teaser! The real trailer isn't ready yet. Hell, the movie isn't even done shooting!
