Jan. 28th, 2008 01:18 pmWow. You know what's really irritating? Getting a small rip in your contact after you've already left for work and not carrying your glasses around with you because you never wear them. I feel like there's a tiny Brillo pad jammed into my eye. =/ It's certainly not helping the POUNDING headache I've had for the past four days.
And of course this is my last pair of contacts. Did I bother making an appointment for new ones once I saw it was my last pair? Oh no, I didn't. Even though I reminded myself several times. And is the doctor's office out of the trial lenses in my prescription/type so I can't just get one to tide me over? Why yes, of course they are. I'm going to be stuck wearing my glasses for the next week or two. Boo. This includes having to wear them for the Cobra show on Thursday. Double boo.
Otherwise today seems to be going okay. My cow-workers are all happy that I'm back at my desk (I've been working in a conference room for two weeks) since I'm around to keep my candy dish full. It's weird not to have everything be all stressful and rushed like it has been.
