Did anyone else see that plot bunny go through here? =)
Yes, I have a story brewing, based on "Revealed." Probably not what you're expecting! I will hopefully complete it today. We'll see.
Also, the colors & text have been revamped over at the Steve Valentine Mah Jongg game, so check it out again, if you'd like. It looks much prettier! If you'd like to d/l a copy to play while offline, here is a zip file. Just right click and save target as.
That's what I spent a good part of my morning doing. It's a thrill a minute here at work.

Date: 2005-05-04 08:11 pm (UTC)It took a while to get everything right (like a couple days) and even now I don't know that I could piece it all apart to show you things.
Your best bet is to try
In some parts, I just got desperate and looked through the source codes in journals that I liked and pasted their codes into my theme.

Date: 2005-05-04 09:28 pm (UTC)It's just sad that they're so far away from the camera so it's hard to make out the details.

Date: 2005-05-04 11:20 pm (UTC)And yeah, they are far away. Sigh. We couldn't possibly ask to be able to SEE things like that up close and personal, now could we? Of course not. :P

As a side note - your Mah Jongg game aided and abetted my staying up past my bed time. Grr.

Date: 2005-05-05 04:16 pm (UTC)*ahem*
It's a damn addicting game, isn't it? I was playing it for a good chunk of my morning. I could easily make you guys a Bug one, if you wanted. Or we could do a Bug & Nigel one.
Because I don't have enough other things to work on, of course.

Date: 2005-05-05 06:12 pm (UTC)It's a fun game! A Nigel/Bug one would be amazing! Or a Bug one! Or just a general Crossing Jordan one! How do you make them, anyway? Because they're pretty darned awesome, I must say.
(Though maybe you shouldn't tell me. "No, Dr. Crowe, I didn't get my term paper done. I was making a Mah Jongg game. But it's pretty!")
Hehe.

Date: 2005-05-05 06:29 pm (UTC)Because I am far too lazy to explain it, if you go here (http://www.puppyshelter.org/Stuff/MahJongg/), she has it all written up. Essentially, you just make a folder and stick the javascript in it. Then add the html page, which you can easily customize with your own colors. Whip up 42 tiles of your choice, add them to the folder and you're ready to go! Upload the whole kit & caboodle to your webspace if you want to share it.

Date: 2005-05-05 06:57 pm (UTC)Must resist... Must worry about term papers.... Must not want to make Mah Jongg....
Still, that's pretty cool. ^_^ I'm actually about to spend my last 15 minutes before class playing Steve Mah Jongg. Hehe.

Date: 2005-05-05 07:03 pm (UTC)I'll be playing to kill my last half-hour of work, I'm sure. I'm such an addict!

Date: 2005-05-05 10:52 pm (UTC)From the directions:
The second catch -- there are eight tiles on the board (two sets of four) that have no exact match. Each set of four will have a common theme to give you hints that they belong together. Clicking any two tiles of the same unmatched set will make them disappear.
Your hint is that one set of unmatched tiles if from Steve's appearance at Dressed to Kilt, where he's wearing the shiny red shirt, and the second set of tiles is from Steve's episode of Dharma & Greg, where he's wearing that pink bandana on his head.

How the hell did Bug smell that Nige had perfume on? Did Nige BATHE in it before he left??

Date: 2005-05-05 05:13 am (UTC)(Or maybe it was colonge, and he did it on purpose. I mean, Bug does say he smells GOOD, not "You smell like you just came from a whorehouse.")
