Jeebus, I'm bored right now. I have work to do, but zero desire to do it. Instead, I've been crawling around MySpace, since it seems to be the place to be lately. I actually updated some of my info on there, and I'm going to add some new photos tonight. Although it would be sad if I took down the photo of me & Skyla. We're so cute! If you're on there, and we're not already friends, my profile is here: http://profiles.myspace.com/users/227109

I heard back from Monaco yesterday. Now I not only want to make him dinner, but keep him in my pocket so I can take him with me everywhere. :p I physically CANNOT stop listening to his CD. He said the full-length CD is due out this summer & that makes me happy.

I have bookgroup tonight. I'm on page 96. The book is like, a LOT longer than that. So, yeah, I'm not going to get it done. I'm also supposed to be helping with snacks & stuff, but my contribution is going to be pathetic since I have no free time.

I decided last night at like 11:30 that I wanted to cap Sunday's CJ episode, thinking it wouldn't take that long. Apparently, I forgot that I'm OCD about that kind of thing. I had over 100 caps before Nigel even finished his speech, and that was like the first 2 minutes of the show. By the time I finished (at 12:45 am), I had 520 caps that I'll need to pick & choose from. But there was just so MUCH prettiness in the episode! So many glances. SO much touching! I don't know how anyone could not think Nigel & Bug are all about each other. Depending on how late bookgroup goes, I'll either have the caps posted tonight or tomorrow. Plus, new icons for sure!

I had a very interesting conversation with our Assistant Manager at B&N last night. She essentially told me, without actually saying it, that people have been telling the Big Boss that my supervisor is definitely NOT the one doing all the work. She didn't think he'd been listening, but when I told her about the conversation I'd had with him, she thinks maybe he has been. Maybe things will finally change! Or, maybe I'll just be more and more frustrated until I finally quit. I've totally given up on my incredibly disorganized supe and just do my own thing when I'm there. I used to wait until he left for the day before I'd start cleaning up his mess, but now I do it while he's there. He gives me weird looks, but I really don't care anymore. /bitching about bookstore

Julie was pimping out a friend of hers on MySpace at one point, Oz, and I added him. He lives in Sconi and he's in a band and stuff. We talk and he's been trying to get me to see his band. They're playing in Chippewa Falls this weekend, which is about an hour away, so I think I'm going. I'm trying to get Joyous to meet me there, since it's like halfway between us, but I don't know if it's going to happen. So, I guess I'll be there alone. Oz is really nice and offered to let me crash in their hotel if I want. Could be an interesting weekend!

Ugh! I have a 2 hour training session starting soon, so off I go to finish up some things I need to get done! Plus, I have a 123 page training manual that I'm supposed to review. Yikes!

Um, yeah.

Not going to book club. But you probably will have figured that one out by the time you read this. I feel like death. I feel sad and a little like someone clubbed me across the back of the head with a baseball bat. And those are actually the least of my problems. Yay! Whining!

Which ASM were you talking to? Hmmmm...

Now I'm going to go lay down. :(

Well, we missed you. But you perhaps did not miss much. Hope you feel better.

Oh, it was Janine.

NL Alum To Star In Wicked's Chicago Production

Gasteyer Is Elphaba, Reed Is Morrible and Weygandt Is the Wizard in Chicago Wicked
Playbill.com has learned Ana Gasteyer, Rondi Reed and Gene Weygandt will head the cast of the open-ended, sit-down production of Wicked, which will play Chicago's Ford Center for the Performing Arts/Oriental Theatre beginning June 24.

Former "Saturday Night Live" star Gasteyer, who is also a Northwestern alum, will head the cast as the green-faced Elphaba. Chicago's own Reed and Weygandt will play the roles of, respectively, Madame Morrible and The Wizard. The open-ended Wicked run follows the April 29-June 12 engagement featuring the touring cast. That company stars Stephanie J. Block as Elphaba and Kendra Kassebaum as Glinda.

Best known for her work on "Saturday Night Live," Gasteyer has appeared on Broadway in The Rocky Horror Show and Off Broadway in The Vagina Monologues and Kimberly Akimbo. She also played Fanny Brice in the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's production of Funny Girl and was recently seen in the New York City Opera mounting of Cinderella. Her screen credits include "Mean Girls," "What Women Want," "Woman on Top," "Dick" and "What's the Worst That Could Happen?"

I know you're shocked, but I already knew about this. Thanks for thinking of me though!

It's so cool, because I'll be able to run down to Chi-town and see it a few times!!
