I'm sitting here watching my John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together DVD which finally arrived today! OMG!! I seriously doubted that I'd ever be able to see it again. Goddess bless you, eBay!!

Since I'm feeling very Christmas-y right now,

Here's a photo of my tree!

Of course, my tree itself isn't very Christmas-y. I mean, a good number of my ornaments happen to be Star Wars ships and cartoon or comic book characters. I don't think there's a Santa or even a snowman anywhere! And no, there's no angel or star on top. Instead, I have a Stellaluna hand puppet. Yes, my tree is topped by a Christmas bat. But, it's my tree & I like it and that's all that matters!

Uh, that one weekend I was home (I think it was like a week ago), I took a bunch of photos of my new place with the intention of posting them in my journal. Obviously, I've gone nowhere with them since then.

I don't think I've ever seen the John Denver and Muppet Christmas??! But I have heard of it;) I love your tree. Especially the penguins and the Elmo, yes I see Elmo. So I take it you're good and comfortable now in your new place yet again....what has it been, about a month?

It's an old, old, old Christmas special and they never replay it. Bastards!

There's lots of Elmo ornaments on my tree. Usually, I have all my Elmo & Tigger & penguin dolls sitting under the tree too, but I've been too lazy to dig them out.

Uhhh, gift? I wasn't expecting a gift! Wed night I'll be busy...maybe Sunday?? I'll have to see what's going on. I might try to spend time with DJ before he leaves for Nepal.

Dude! I didn't know there was a pop-up version! That rules. This is definitely one thing I miss about working in childcare. They always had the most awesome books on hand.
