I am well along my way to having a nervoud breakdown. This is fabulous. grrrr... The worst part is that it's just the beginning of the "busy season" around here. It's just going to get worse and worse.
Tonight is for me, and all for me. My mommy said I could go over there for dinner, then I seriously need to get some stuff done. I have a new icon idea, and I need to fix the Mah Jongg game I made, and I have to cleanup some stuff on the 'puter cause I'm running out of room. And I need to watch Saved and Latter Days. And I have some Wicked boot stuff that I MUST download! Sounds like a party, doesn't it? Foxy & Rikki, I'll work on the icons for you guys tomorrow night. Cross my heart.

Date: 2004-10-13 01:42 pm (UTC)I would SO love to see the show, but Idina is no longer Elphaba. ::sob::
And as far as drinking during the day, things are getting so [insert incoherent Tazmanian devil rantings here] at my job that I've been telling people I'm going to start bringing a little flask of something for myself to work. You know, to help me get through the day. ;)

I so went through the same thing as an auditor for the state. At the time, a co-worker of mine recommended getting massages, and I whole-heartedly. If you have the money, it's a wonderful stress reliever.
Basically, you need to use your limited free time to do things for yourself so you don't burn out. Find a stress-reliever and do it faithfully.

Date: 2004-10-13 12:30 pm (UTC)It wouldn't be so bad, but both of my job kick into the busy season at the same time, so I'm putting in extra hours at both. So...free time?? What's that?? I'm doing my best to stay sane, but it's kind of hard when I've been irritated since the moment I walked in here.
