it's days like these that keep me on my winning streak

Listen, jackass. When you decide to ring my doorbell at 1:35am, and not once or twice but repeatedly for about 2 minutes straight, I'm not exactly going to be in the best mood after I've gotten out of bed and stumbled downstairs. Yes, there's going to be yelling and curse words. And no, you're weakly stammered "oh man, I'm really sorry" doesn't fucking cut it. I should have called the cops on your stupid fucking ass, but my phone was all the way upstairs and I really just wanted to crawl back into bed. I should have fucking kicked you down the stairs and believe me, I could have done it to your scrawny little ass.

Also, what the hell was I watching on Nip/Tuck last night?? Admittedly, I totally forgot about it and tuned in about halfway through. But Sean tripping out of his mind after nibbling on a pot brownine? What was that?? And Christian saying he was going to make love to whatshername? Make love?? Dr. Christian Troy said make love?!? It boggles the mind. This show is definitely no longer required viewing.

GAH! At least I made it home from work in time to see the end of the Twins game last night. And to see Sven get stuck in the rain without an umbrella.

I haven't talked about TV in a while, so I thought I should do so.

Nip/Tuck
The season premiere was last Tuesday and I liked it. I didn't love it. Thankfully, no one mentioned The Carver. But, that was also weird, because there were a lot of storylines that were just dropped. Sean's finger getting chopped off? What the hell happened to the psycho dad? Hell, two of the main characters weren't even IN the episode. Odd. They were at least mentioned, so I guess it's not that bad. Lots of nekkid Christian ass and that will always get a thumbs up from me. =)

Flavor of Love 2
I am SO FREAKING addicted to this show! It was getting a little stagnant this season, and then they brought back Mr. Ms. New York. DRAMA! I love it! It's so sad that I get up early on Sundays so I can watch the first airing at 11am, rather than wait for the 9pm airing.

Celebrity Fit Club 4
*snore* Ted Lange is pretty cool, but every one else is BORING. Even the bickering is boring. Don't bring back Gary Busey. Throw Jeff Conway back on for an episode.

Project Runway
I've never really watched much of this show, but I caught one of the first episodes from this season a few weeks ago and really liked it. Bravo had a marathon yesterday so I caught up on everything I missed. So fabulous! It's definitely going to have to be added to my normal TV watching schedule.

Crossing Jordan
I'm not too pumped about the season premier next month. In fact, I don't think I've watched more than 1 or 2 of the reruns all summer. This season is going to kill the show, and I don't think that's a bad thing. It's such a shame because it was such a great show once, but it just really hit a downwards slide that I don't think it'll ever recover from.

The Office
Now on the other hand, I cannot WAIT for the premier of The Office next week! So many things need to be answered!! Those dopey Jim/Pam commercials that NBC has been running aren't helping either. I have a feeling I'll be getting the Season 2 DVDs tomorrow so I can watch all the episodes again this weekend.

I know I'm 12 years too late, but I finally learned just how amazing this album is. It's all I want for Christmas!

Carver theory = Everyone thinks it's Julia now, but I've switched from Matt to Sean. Sean seems to be pretty f'ed in the head right now. Well, they all are, but he seems to be moreso.

The Carver's mySpace = CRACK!!! They keep up the blog and even answer the comments sometimes. Ohhhhhhh, sooooooo much time to waste!

- Even with the poorly timed snow storm, I was only 10 mins late to work today. Hooray for getting to work before traffic is too bad! I can see the traffic on 169 from my window and I feel sorry for those poor people.

- I got 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night! It was heavenly.

- My mom just invited me to go out to dinner at Buca De Beppo tonight. YUM! I can taste the Bruschetta and Lemon Chicken already. =) This is especially lovely as she mentioned something this weekend about going there. I jokingly asked "We're going to Buca?" and I got the look of death in return and was told I wasn't invited. Silly parents!

- I have just enough money & food to make it through the rest of the week without starving or having no gas.

- I have half of my cookies done for our cookie exchange on Thursday night, and will be making the rest at my parents house tomorrow night while I help my mom decorate the house.

- I finished the big dragon wing on my cross-stich project last night, and should be able to finish the dragon's body tonight.

- Nip/Tuck tonight! With the Carver!

So, today is a good day so far. Even if I do have the most boring project evar to work on.
