leighblack | Ugh!

Do you ever want to just reach out a smack someone? Today, it's my mother. For those who don't know/remember, my mom works in the office at my apartment building. Well, last night when I got off work, there was a voice mail waiting for me from someone in one of the other buildings because my mother had given him my number. He was having problems hooking up his cable modem and she told him that I could help him. WTF??? Hi, they have customer service people for that and they get paid. I don't. They very last thing I want to do in the very little precious free time I have is to go sit in some strange man's apartment and fiddle with his cable modem, of which I know nothing about anyways. I called her today and read her the riot act about NOT giving my phone number to people I don't know. Because a) I don't like people, b) I especially don't like the people in our buildings, c) I have no desire to make nicey-nicey with any of them, d) I'm not their fucking computer tech and e) I really don't want any of them to have my cell number!! Grrrrrrr...

BTW, I'm sorry I haven't updated much lately. We're swamped at work, so I don't have time to write much. And my free time lately has been pretty nil, as I keep getting requests to do things. Which is good! I've had so much that I've wanted to write about! Maybe tomorrow night.

Oh, and I forgot to mention it yesterday, but happy 37th birthday to the Nelson twins, Gunnar & Matthew, who seem to be getting alot of mentions 'round here lately. No, I didn't remember it off the top of my head. I heard it on the radio yesterday morning, I swear. =)
