Monette and I have successfully made it to the Doubletree! Apparently there are people sitting around in the lobby, but we're chilling out in our room for a while. People are talking about class-action lawsuits and contacting the attorney general and all kinds of fun things. We're taking it in stride. We had an awesome time at the Field Museum and we're looking forward to the ruckus tonight at the cocktail hour. And then we're going to the tiki bar!

And apparently this convention is CURSED, because Tom Price was looking the wrong way when crossing the street and GOT HIT BY A CAR and broke his arm. =( =( He'll be here, but with a cast on. Hopefully not on his writing hand.

We're thinking of wrapping Gareth in bubble wrap. Not for any kinky purposes.

Also, we're thinking of getting some blank T-shirts and puffy paint to write "TorchSong May Be Hazardous to Your Health" on them to wear tomorrow.

You should totally do the tshirts! LOL. I'm sorry your convention seems cursed. I hope John and anyone else whose been hurt gets better soon. But hey, Tiki bar. :)

Boy, this convention is full of bad luck.... the bubble wrap seems like a great idea at this point and he probably wouldn't mind and would appreciate the thought ;-)

I did suggest bubble wrap to him, but he said he might go with a full body cast as a preventative measure. ;)
